While summers at the Executive Mansion are home to larger groups like extended families meeting up at the lake for a week of relaxation & recreation, during the off-season the Mansion has the privilege of frequently serving as a lakeside venue for small, intimate weddings.

From formal, fine dining receptions on the patios, to quaint, candle-lit ceremonies in front of the fireplace, the Mansion is versatile in meeting the various venue preferences for wedding planners who want to break away from the norms.

We love hearing stories of wedding day memories from past guests who have married at the Lake (i.e. making an entrance by boat!), as well as receiving pictures of their special day (the Great Room balcony is the perfect spot for the bouquet toss!). Lake folks like to hang signs that say, “Life is better at the lake.” We would concur that life is totally better at the lake–and so are weddings!
